Ramesh Choudary, also known by his stage name Githan Ramesh is a film actor in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He is the son of film producer R. B. Choudary and brother of actor Jeeva. He made his debut in the film Jithan (2005) and, as of 2010, he became a producer for the film Vaanam.
He first appeared in the film Githan which was a super hit starring Sarath Kumar and Pooja Umashankar. He began to sign many films on a signing spree but his latest three releases, Madhu, Jerry and Nee Venunda Chellam flopped. His next film Madurai Veeran had a successful time at the box office.
Ramesh teams up with Silambarasan for Osthi, playing an important brother role in the Tamil version of Dabangg.
