Erin Hamlin (born Mullady) is a three-time Olympian and the first female American luger to medal at any Winter Olympics, as well as the first American of either gender to medal in singles competition

Erin Hamlin began participating in luge when she was just 12 years old. At that time, she began practicing at the track in Lake Placid. Little did she know that several years later, she'd win her world championship title on the same New York track, just miles from her hometown.
