Dunta Robinson is an American football cornerback for the Atlanta Falcons. He was drafted by the Houston Texans 10th overall in the 2004 NFL Draft.

Selected as a first round (10th overall) draft pick by the Houston Texans in 2004. Signed by the Falcons as a free agent on March 6, 2010.

CAREER
In six NFL seasons with the Houston Texans, has compiled 374 tackles (300 solo), four sacks, 13 interceptions, seven forced fumbles, one fumble recovery and one touchdown. Is the Texans all-time leader in interceptions (13) and passes defensed (63). Enjoyed a rookie season which featured six interceptions, which was tied for first among NFL rookies.

2009 (TEXANS)
Started in all 16 contests at cornerback and totaled 41 tackles, nine passes defensed and one forced fumble. Finished with five solo tackles, one pass defensed and one forced fumble against Jacksonville (9/27). Totaled four tackles (three solo), and one pass defensed at Arizona (10/11), his 58th career pass defensed, which set a new franchise record. Made seven tackles (five solo), including one tackle for loss against Indianapolis (11/29). Notched two solo tackles and a game-high three passes defensed at Jacksonville (12/6). Tied for the team lead with seven tackles (six solo), including one stop for a loss against New England (1/3).

COLLEGE
Originally began his college career at South Carolina as a free safety before earning the starting left cornerback slot as a junior. Competed in 42 career games (24 starts) and recorded 114 career tackles, five interceptions and 22 passes defensed. Also returned four punts for 44 yards. Earned team Defensive MVP honors as a senior.

PERSONAL
Attended Clarke Central High School in Athens, Georgia and holds the Gladiators record for the most career interceptions with 17. Also rushed for six touchdowns and ran back both a punt and kick return for scores. Lettered in basketball and track while competing in the long jump and anchor of the 4x100 relay.
