A sure-handed receiver, Domi­nique Zeigler provides depth to a tal­ented 49ers receiving corps. He saw actions in 8 games as both a wide receiver and punt re­turner in 2008. Zeigler was originally signed as a rookie free agent by the 49ers in 2007 and spent his entire rookie year on the 49ers practice squad.

•Posted 3 special teams stops vs. StL (11/16).

COLLEGE:
•Appeared in 42 career games with 30 starts at Baylor. Started 10 of 11 games as a senior and registered 54 catches for 741 yds. and 3 TDs. Started all 11 games as a junior and posted 48 catches for team-highs of 563 yds. and 5 TDs. Saw action in 10 games with 9 starts and led team in catches (55) and ranked 2nd in receiving yds. (536) and TDs (5). Caught 9 passes for 83 yds. as a freshman in 10 games.

PERSONAL:
•Attended Harker Heights (Killeen, TX) HS, where he lettered in football and track.
•Played QB as a senior and completed 89 of 166 passes for 1,511 yds. and 15 TDs, adding 414 rushing yds., while leading team to an 11-2 record and district title.
•Was a two-year starter at receiver as a junior and sophomore, earning first-team all-district honors.
•Recorded nation’s best long jump and captured the Texas state high jump crown. Finished 3rd in high jump (7’0 1/4) and 6th in long jump (22’7 1/4) at 2003 USA Junior Championships.
