CAREER
Started 28 of 40 career games at cornerback and totaled 95 tackles (62 solo), six interceptions, 15 passes defensed, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble. Served as a punt returner for the Sooners and ran back 29 career kicks for 346 yards and an average of 11.9 yards per return. Earned All-Big 12 first-team honors following his junior and senior seasons (2008-'09).

2009 SEASON
Started 13 games at cornerback and finished eighth on the team with a career-best 47 tackles(33 solo), 1.5 tackles for loss, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, five passes defensed and two interceptions, one of which was returned for a touchdown. Part of a defensive unit that finished 20th in the nation against the pass, allowing 179.7 yards per game. Received All-Big 12 Conference first-team honors by the league's coaches and earned second-team honors from the Associated Press, Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Kansas City Star and Waco Tribune Herald. Averaged 17.0 yards per punt return, which ranks as the sixth-best season average in Oklahoma history. Returned an interception 85 yards for a touchdown against Kansas (10/24), which tied for the seventh longest in school history. 2008 SEASON Started 14 games at cornerback and ranked eighth on the team with 42 tackles (27 solo), one tackle for loss, 10 passes defensed one fumble recovery for a 39-yard touchdown and four interceptions, one of which was returned for a TD. Returned six punts for 35 yards. Named to the All-Big 12 Conference first team by the Dallas Morning News and second team by the league's coaches and Associated Press.

2007 SEASON
Saw action in 13 games and earned his first career start in the Fiesta Bowl. Collected six tackles (two solo). As a specialist, finished with one kickoff return for 37 yards in his first career game and 124 yards on 12 punt returns.

PERSONAL

Attended Union High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma as a junior and senior and attended Owasso High School as a freshman and sophomore. Named the Tulsa World Oklahoma Player of the Year and first-team all-state as a senior. In 2005, was selected as the runner-up for the State Defensive Player of the Year award from The Oklahoman. Helped the Redskins to two Class 6A state titles as a junior and senior. Recorded seven interceptions, returning three for touchdowns as a senior, while adding five scores as a tailback and three TDs as a return specialist. A native of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
