Originally signed as a rookie free agent by the Tennessee Titans on May 2, 2007…Waived by the Titans on June 19, 2007…Claimed off waivers by the Jets on June 22, 2007…Waived by the Jets on Sept. 2, 2007…Signed to the Jets' practice squad on Sept. 3, 2007…Signed by the Giants off the Jets' practice squad on Dec. 4, 2007.

GIANTS NOTES

Strong, elusive runner who was the Giants' leading rusher in the 2008 preseason with 181 yards on 33 carries, a 5.5-yard average…Will compete for playing time in a crowded Giants backfield.

Attended the Muscular Dystrophy Association's Muscle Team fundraiser dinner.
Served as a guest speaker at the Jackson, N.J. Pop Warner Sports Banquet, congratulating the participants on a great season.

Attended the annual dinner benefit for My Sister's Place - a Giants supported domestic violence shelter in Westchester, N.Y. - and received an award on behalf of the team for the support of the organization.

Hosted members of the Jr. Giants Kids Club at the Timex Performance Center for football activities, food and autographs.
Attended the Giants Kickoff Luncheon benefitting St. Vincent's Medical Center.

PERSONAL

Team captain and 2-time MVP rushed for 1,009 yards and compiled 35 tackles and 1 interception on defense as a senior at Rockmart High School…Also amassed 1,003 yards punting with a long of 60 yards…2002 Atlanta Journal-Constitution Top 50 in Georgia, Class AA all-state honorable mention, Prep Start all-region and Rome News Tribune 1st-team all-area selection coming out of high school.
