Demetric Evans finished his first season in San Francisco with 1.5 sacks as a part of an active defensive line rota­tion after serving as a consistent contributor on the Washington Redskins defense throughout the previous 5 years. A stout per­former against the run, Evans has also shown an ability to rush the passer. His most extensive action on the line occurred in 2008 when he started 11 games for the Redskins and posted a career-high 3.5 sacks.
