DeJuan Lamont Blair is an All-American professional basketball player who currently plays for the San Antonio Spurs of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Before turning pro Blair played center for the University of Pittsburgh men's basketball team from 2007 to 2009. After an outstanding sophomore season he entered the 2009 NBA Draft where he was selected in the second round, 37th overall by the Spurs.

Played two seasons at Pitt declaring for the draft following his sophomore season … in 72 college games posted 35 double-doubles and grabbed 10-or-more rebounds 41 times … the second player in Pitt history (along with Billy Knight) to post two career 20-point 20-rebound games… played for the Spurs squad in the 2009 Las Vegas Summer League … averaged 16.3 points and 8.7 rebounds in 24.5 minutes … shot .529 (18-34) from the field and .813 (13-16) from the line.


2009–10:
Named to the All-Rookie Second Team … only Spurs player to appear in all 82 games … started 23 games, averaging 7.8 points and 6.4 rebounds in 18.2 minutes … shot .556 (275-495) from the floor and .547 (88-161) from the free throw line … among rookies ranked first in field goal percentage and second in rebounding … logged eight double-doubles and two 20-20 games … scored in double figures in 27 games, including three 20-plus games … grabbed 10-plus rebounds 14 times and 20-plus rebounds twice … led the team in scoring five times, rebounding 19 times, blocks 18 times and steals 13 times … in his first NBA game posted a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds in 23 minutes vs. New Orleans on 10/28 … became only third Spurs rookie, along with David Robinson and Tim Duncan to record a double-double in his debut with the team … posted 28 points (11-17 FG) and grabbed 21 rebounds in 31 minutes at Oklahoma City on 1/13, becoming first NBA rookie since Tim Duncan in the 1997-98 season to post a 20-20 game … recorded 27 points (12-21 FG, 3-4 FT), a season-high 23 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals in 37 minutes at Dallas on 4/14 … became the first rookie since Joe Smith in 1995–96 to post two 20-20 games in the same season … connected on his first nine FG attempts finishing with 20 points (9-11 FG, 2-3 FT), 6 rebounds and 2 steals in 24 minutes at Sacramento on 2/3 … finished with 18 points (9-11 FG) and 11 rebounds in 22 minutes vs. Boston on 12/3 … recorded 11 points and 16 rebounds in 31 minutes at Charlotte on 1/15 … posted 14 points, 9 rebounds and a season-high 5 assists in 26 minutes vs. Golden State on 3/19 … recorded 11 points, 10 rebounds and a season-high 3 blocks in 17 minutes vs. Philadelphia on 11/29 … appeared in all 10 playoff games, averaging 3.7 points and 3.9 rebounds in 9.1 minutes … shot .500 (16-32) from the field … finished with 8 points and 8 rebounds in 18 minutes in Game 5 at Dallas on 4/27.

PERSONAL:

Grew up less than 600 yards from the Pitt campus … led Schenley High School to the 2007 PIAA Class 4A state championship … his brother, Greg, was one of his teammates … in four seasons at Schenley his teams posted a 103-16 record including a perfect 57-0 against Pittsburgh City League teams … named the Pittsburgh City Player of the Year three times … twice named the Pennsylvania Player of the Year … both his mother and father played high school basketball in Pittsburgh … father Greg played and graduated from Schenley in 1991 and his mother, Shari averaged 20 points and 20 rebounds at Serra Catholic in the 1980s.
