Daryl Washington is an American football linebacker for the Arizona Cardinals. He attended Texas Christian University. Washington was chosen by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2nd round of the 2010 NFL Draft .

College Career:
Played in 50 games during his four seasons at TCU (15 starts), finishing his collegiate career with 220 tackles, 20.5 tackles for loss, 5.0 sacks, four INTs, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery … blocked four kicks during his career, leading the nation with three blocks in 2007 … as a senior, ranked fifth in the Mountain West Conference with 109 tackles.

2009: Named first-team All-American by ESPN.com and also named to All-America teams by Sporting News, Rivals.com and Pro Football Weekly ... first-team All-Mountain West Conference and a Butkus Award semifinalist … led TCU with 109 tackles, the most stops by a Horned Frog since 2004 as TCU led the nation in total defense for the second-consecutive season … posted 10 tackles, including 3.5 for loss, in the Fiesta Bowl at University of Phoenix Stadium … placed second on TCU with 11 tackles for loss on the season ... returned an INT 20 yards for a TD against New Mexico in the fourth quarter of his final home game … tied for the team lead with three INTs on the season … reached double figures in tackles in five games and recorded at least five tackles in all 13 games.

2008: Played in 13 games (two starts) as a junior and was TCU's fourth-leading tackler with 63 stops on a defense that led the nation in total defense and run defense ... also recorded 5.5 tackles for loss, a career-high three sacks, four passes defensed, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and an INT … made just his second career start in the 17-16 Poinsettia Bowl victory over Boise State; totaled six tackles, including one for loss, while breaking up three passes against the Broncos ... named the Mountain West Conference Defensive Player of the Week in a 13-7 win @ Colorado State; had two tackles for loss, including a sack, to go with a fumble recovery and key fourth-quarter INT against the Rams ... made his first career start in the 67-7 victory over Stephen F. Austin ... had at least four tackles in 11 of the Frogs' 13 games.

2007: A special teams standout who tied for the national lead with three blocked punts as a sophomore, sharing the honor with Ohio's Joshua Abrams ... also saw time as a reserve linebacker, recording 32 tackles, three tackles for loss and a pass defensed ... blocked punts vs. Air Force, Wyoming and Utah ... the block against the Utes was returned by Stephen Hodge for a TCU TD ... also totaled four tackles against Utah.

2006: One of four true freshmen to see action, contributing at linebacker and on special teams ... recorded 16 tackles, including one for a loss, and forced a fumble on defense ... blocked his first career punt, forced a fumble and totaled three solo tackles in the 52-0 win over San Diego State ... made his collegiate debut in the season-opening 17-7 win @ Baylor and posted a solo tackle.
