Craig Terrill life and biography

Craig Terrill is an American football defensive tackle who is currently with the Seattle Seahawks. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the sixth round of the 2004 NFL Draft. He played college football at Purdue.

Selected with the 24th pick in the fifth round (189th overall) of the 2004 NFL Draft. Second defensive lineman taken by team and second consecutive year team drafted a defensive lineman in the sixth round. Only fourth player chosen from Purdue University in club history.

NFL CAREER HIGHLIGHTS:

● Registered 79 career tackles (58 solo), 7.0 sacks, four passes defensed and four fumble recoveries.
● Has played in all 16 games three times in career (2005, 2007, 2008).
● Participated in 6 postseason games, recording 12 tackles (7 solo) and 1.5 sacks.
● Four career blocked field goals ranks second in club history (Joe Nash, 8).
● Scored first career touchdown on a 10-yard fumble return vs. San Francisco (9/14/06).
● Set a career high with 3.0 sacks vs. Oakland on Monday Night Football (11/6/06).
● Recovered a forced fumble in the NFC Championship game vs. Carolina (1/22/06).
● Made NFL debut at Minnesota playing defensive tackle (12/12/04).

COLLEGE:

Three-year starter on the defensive line. Amassed 131 tackles (89 solo) and 35.5 tackles for losses of 165 yards. Ranks fifth on school's career sack list with 20.5. All-Big Ten selection by coaches and honorable mention by media as a fifth-year senior. As junior was honorable mention All-Big Ten by coaches and media. Started every game as sophomore. Appeared in all 12 games and started eight freshman year.

PERSONAL:

First-team All-State as a senior defensive lineman at Lebanon (Ind.) High. Holds school records for sacks in a season (27) and career (36). Enjoys playing the guitar. Majored in Journalism. Married to Rachel and has a daughter, Journey.
