Bunga Citra Lestari life and biography

Bunga Citra Lestari, also known as BCL was born in Jakarta, 22 March 1983. She was made more popular by her single hit “Cinta Pertama” that was a soundtrack for a movie called “Cinta Pertama“. A song written by Dewiq has made 75 thousand of copy in just 2 weeks time. This clears her way to become what she always dream about, to become a professional singer.

Having minted a promising career on the silver screen, the 23-year-old is now trying her hand in the music biz. Like Lindsay Lohan or the Ashley twins, this starlet is hoping to make the transition with a rainbow of pop tunes that appeal to the teen market. Bunga says she has wanted to sing since she was a child but didn’t find the courage to make an album until after she wrote a song for the film Dealova and then starred in the film Cinta Pertama. In 2007 she has found her stride and it won’t be long before this.

As an actress, she has starred in some Indonesian TV series like "ABG" and "Senandung Masa Puber" and in Indonesian movies like "Cinta Pertama" and "Kangen". As a singer, she released her debut album "Cinta Pertama" in 2006.

She is that young, and have released allready three complete albums, The first wat titled by her own name "Bunga Citra Lestari", Her second album was named as same as the movie where she was performed for "Cinta Pertama". Her last album for now, With songs like Tentang kamu and a duet with Ari Lasso, Aku dan Diriku, released in June of 2008, and called "BCL - Tentang Kamu".
Before singing, she was popular because of her appearance on national TV, modelling career and commercial ads. She was married to a son of a millionaire from Malaysia, Ashraf Sinclair on Sunday (08/11/08). The wedding has become the most expensive of all in the year of 2008 and was held 2 times, in Malaysia and in Indonesia. A national TV from Malaysia even broadcasted their wedding in 3 episodes.
