Archie Panjabi life and biography

Archana "Archie" Panjabi is a British actress, who was born and raised in Britain, in a Sikh family. Her parents Govind and Padma Panjabi are from India. Archie Panjabi is recognized for her roles in the 1999 film East is East, the 2002 comedy film Bend It Like Beckham and as Kalinda Sharma on the current CBS television series The Good Wife.

Archie Panjabi won her first Emmy award Sunday night in Los Angeles, CA for supporting actress in a drama series for CBS' "The Good Wife". The 38-year-old won the Emmy for her role as a law firm's in-house private investigator, beating out Christine Baranski, fellow The Good Wife actress, and Mad Men's Elisabeth Moss.
