Majored in communications and rhetorical studies at Syracuse...Member of the Canadian Senior Men’s National Team. The squad, coached by his father Leo, finished fourth at the 2009 FIBA Americas Tournament and earned a spot in the 2010 World Championships...Son of former Syracuse standout Leo Rautins, who played two NBA seasons and had a stint in 1987 training camp with the Knicks. Leo - now color analyst for Toronto Raptors - was first Canadian to be selected in first round of NBA Draft (17th overall by Sixers in 1983)...Played for coach Bob McKenney at Jamesville-DeWitt HS and was a member of the school’s 2004 Class A NY State championship squad.
