André Anthony Anderson is an American football running back for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League. He played his college football at Tulane.

Anderson was cut by the Buffalo Bills on final cuts on September 4, 2010 but signed to their practice squad on September 21, 2010. On October 6, 2010, Anderson was promoted to the Bills 53-man active roster.

College career
Anderson was a three-year letterwinner and starter. He played in 22 career games with seven starts. Career rushing numbers include 993 yards on 206 attempts (4.8 ypc) and nine touchdowns. Receiving totals include 227 yards on 26 receptions (8.7 ypc) and one touchdown. He faced limited contact during spring drills but enters fall camp as the starting running back. He was a candidate for both the Doak Walker Award and for All-Conference USA honors.

2010 NFL Draft
Anderson went undrafted in the 2010 NFL Draft. On April 24, Anderson signed a contract with the Buffalo Bills.

André Anderson was born on May 1, 1988, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He is one of seven children of Sefton and Curline Anderson. He was a three-time member of the Tulane 3.0 Club and was also a three-time selection to the C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll. He was selected to the Conference USA All-Academic Team as a junior.
