Ambrose Olsen was an American fashion model. He began modeling in 2002. According to his New York magazine model profile, Olsen enjoyed "listening to Mozart and 2PAC, History, Architecture."
Prior to modeling, he studied to be a carpenter. He also practiced surfing, boxing and hockey as sports and planned to volunteer for the US Navy. He moved to New York City in 2002 and began modeling. Ambrose Olsen appeared in many print ads and a few runway shows and a few fashion videos. At time of death he was represented by Click Management.
Olsen was best known for his 2007 Armani Exchange ads. He also worked for numerous other brands such as TNT, Hugo Boss, D&G, Nautica, Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), Louis Vuitton, Burberry, Giorgio Armani Extreme Attitude and others. He also did the catwalk on shows by Alexandre Herchcovitch, Kim Jones and others.

Fashionologie reports that 24-year-old male model Ambrose Olsen died unexpectedly last Thursday, April 22nd. The cause of death is still unknown. Olsen was from Alaska, and was known for his work in Hugo Boss, Burberry, Louis Vuitton, and YSL campaigns; he also appeared with Adriana Lima in Armani Exchange ads.
Olsen's death occurred on the same day that Colombian supermodel Lina Marulanda tragically took her life.
