Alizé Cornet is a French professional tennis player and the current French number three (Behind Marion Bartoli and Aravane Rezaï).
She was born in Nice, Alpes-Maritimes, and has a career-high ranking of No. 11, achieved on 16 February 2009; as of 11 April 2011 she is ranked World No. 67. Cornet also has an extensive juniors record, winning the 2007 Girls' Singles at Roland Garros. She has won 1 WTA title.
Alize Cornet posted her best showing at a Slam by reaching the fourth round of the Australian Open in 2009. She reached a career-high ranking of No. 11 that same year. A winner at Budapest in 2008, the former Roland Garros junior champion also represented France in the 2008 Olympics.
