Ali Zafar is a famous Pakistani pop star, whose songs are famous not only in Pakistan but also in whole south-Asia. He started his career in music from his debut song “Jugnuoon sey bhar key anchal” which he sung for the movie “Shrarat”, directed by famous Paksitani director Samina Peerzada.

His debut album “Huqa Pani” was released in 2003 in Pakistan and worldwide in 2005. His first album was among the very few Pakistani albums which earned that much popularity and received such a great response. Five million copies of his first album were sold and thus it became one of the biggest hits of Pakistan. Because of all his achievements in music he is known as “The Prince of Pop”. We can guess the excellence in his voice quality by the fact that Ali Zafar’s voice was once compared with “Kishore Kumar’s” by “The Hindu”.

Ali zafar studied in “Beaconhouse School System Defence Campus" and topped in matriculation exams in 1996. After that he joined Government College University. From there he completed his F.A. in 1998. He graduated from National college of Arts (NCA) as a Painter with Honors. All his achievements in different fields show that he is a multi-talented person. He is a good actor, nice model and a great musician. He has also received some of the major awards of music in Pakistan.

Besides singing Ali Zafar is also an actor and model. He worked in many advertisements and drama serials. Some of his popular dramas are “landa bazaar”, “Kollege Jeans” and “kanch key par”. He also worked in Abrar-ul-haq’s music vedio “preeto”.

Popular songs by Ali Zafar from his debut album “Huqa Pani” are “Channo”, “Rangeen”, “Huqa pani”, “Chal dil mere” and from second album “Masty” are: “Masty”, “Sajania”, “Dekha” and “Asmaan”.

Ali Zafar'’s debut film “Tere bin laden” was released on 16th July 2010, and it was an Indian comedy film is directed by Abhishek Sharma.
