Ali Fedotowsky was chosen to be the sixth ABC bachelorette after competing on the Jake Pavelka season of The Bachelor. Ali chose to leave The Bachelor because of work obligations -- and she was rejected by Jake Pavelka when she tried to return to the show. After her surprising rejection, ABC asked Ali to become the new Bachelorette.
Early Life
Ali grew up in Williamstown, Massachusetts with her parents, one sister, and one brother. The athletic beauty participated in sports as a child. During her teenage years, she played varsity soccer for Mount Greylock Regional High School.
Ali attended Clark University in New England, where she majored in psychology and became a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Clark.
