Alge Crumpler is an American football tight end for the New England Patriots of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the second round of the 2001 NFL Draft. He played college football at North Carolina.

* Three-time state champion in the discus and title holder in the shot put for the school's track team in 1996.

* Crumpler comes from a football family. His father, Carlester Crumpler Sr., played at East Carolina and spent several training camps with the Buffalo Bills. His older brother, Carlester Jr., was an All-American selection at East Carolina and played for the Seattle Seahawks (1994-99) and the Minnesota Vikings (1999).
