Alberto Menegatti life and biography

Alberto Menegatti is an Italian surfer born in the north of Italy, in a small town called Torbole and is now livind in Cape Town, South Africa.

He started his childhood with trying every single possible sport. Enforce by his mother to try as much sport as he could, Alberto played group sports as football, volleyball, basketball... Then he moved on in the solo sports such as skiing, tennis, yoseikan budo, sailing, swimming till the moment he discovered Windsurfing and really fall in love with it.

He didn't got to the first club selection in 1996, but the next year he started racing in the Aloha Class, the pre-olympic class. Quickly jumped in the olympic class, to become at the age of 15-16 already to heavy for it.

Since 2000 he's having good results in windsurfing :
